With a relatively short turnaround time, we delivered a very complex responsive site using a heretofore untested visual language on time and to spec, resulting in an experience that is at the cutting edge of online annual report design in Australia.

The problem with annual reports is that the information inside them can be a dense jungle of tables and terms but that data is important for shareholders, journalists and anybody else who might be interested in the inner workings of a publicly listed company. This year we wanted to tackle the real problem of annual reports: How do we make all of that data accessible to everyone, giving them the detail at a level they can use when they choose to use it?
Increasing 'Smart Meter' data visibility.
The rollout of Victoria’s officially titled ‘Advanced Metering Infrastructure’ (known to most as ‘Smart Meters’) has caused its fair share of public grumbling; not the least being that customers wanted access to the data their meters were collecting. This was one Smart Meter issue a forward-thinking energy distributor – Jemena – was ready to tackle right off the bat, so they went about assembling a team of engineers, developers and design experts to get it all happening.
